The David Cargill Challenge

It is time to create a fund in honour of David Cargill and the challenge he and his two wives faced as they set out for the Pacific. The fund will challenge the young people hereabouts to go out and travel with a purpose, hopefully to Fiji and the uttermost parts of the earth.

Last, in the words of J Malcolm Dulloch, from the Aberdeen University Review Jun 1921: -
“Altogether, David Cargill had no reason to be disappointed with his descendants. He and they are all worth remembering in the journal of this university”!
